About Us

Har Patel
Electrical Engineering '22

My name is Har Patel and I'm from Northeast Philadelphia. I am majoring in electrical engineering with a potential second major in computer engineering. One of my professional interests is wireless systems for the Internet of Things(IoT).  Through this project, I hope to incorporate my interests with the biomedical field and create a wireless biomedical device for underdeveloped countries that is not only affordable but also efficient.

I'm Jared Wallace and I'm from Wilmington, Delaware. My main professional interest as a chemical engineer is finding the cheapest and most effective materials for use in solar panels in order to promote renewable energy use for people across the globe. I believe this project will help me better appreciate innovation in the biomedical field by creating a device for those who can't afford expensive treatments.

Matthew Rantz
Computer Engineering '22

My name is Matthew Rantz, I'm from Pottstown, Pennsylvania and am currently pursing a degree in computer engineering with the hopes of double majoring in electrical engineering. Some professional interests I'm currently exploring include biomedical imaging and wireless communications. This project will provide me with the opportunity to discover how my engineering interests relate to the biomedical field and learn to develop a product that is both cost effective and efficient. I also hope to develop my teamwork and project management skills.

Ryan Miller
Chemical Engineering '22
rtm67@drexel.edu

Hi there, my name is Ryan Miller and am from Levittown Pennsylvania. Currently, my professional goals are geared towards modern medicine and the environment. While these goals may be subject to change, I am eager to learn more about how I can make a difference in the search for an inexpensive renewable energy source. While working on this project I hope to learn more about biomedical engineering and the engineering design process.

Diana Chang
Mechanical Engineering '22
dwc66@drexel.edu
My name is Diana Chang and I am from Havertown, Pennsylvania. I am currently majoring in Mechanical Engineering and hopefully dual majoring in Electrical Engineering. One of the main projects that I have worked on was being a part of the research team for the new found drug KYMRIAH. My professional goal is to work with Boeing or Airbus on interior airplane design. Since I also have an interest in medicine, this project on pulse oximeters will help me learn how modern medical instruments are constructed. It will also let me figure the way to make the modern instruments cost-effective so developing countries will also be able to have access to them.
